At Pure One, we believe water is more than something we drink. It has a story, a place, and a character of its own. Every natural source carries its own story, character, and composition.
Deep beneath New Zealand’s volcanic landscape lies our source - an ancient artesian aquifer where water has been naturally protected and shaped over tens of thousands of years.
Defined by time and geology, it is shared with care and purpose.
Protected by nature. Sustained over time.
Our water is drawn from a naturally protected artesian aquifer beneath Mount Taranaki. Over at least 46,000 years, rainfall has slowly filtered through layers of volcanic rock, creating a source that is naturally replenished.
The aquifer exists under natural geological pressure, allowing the water to rise to the surface without the need for energy-intensive extraction.
We carefully manage production and only extract the volumes required, ensuring the long-term stewardship of our source.
Refill & Re-use
To help reduce single-use packaging, we operate an in-store refill programme that encourages customers to reuse their containers.
Nationwide, our online refill system allows customers to return empty Pure One containers for refilling - a more sustainable way to enjoy premium mineral water across New Zealand.
We also use recyclable glass bottles and sustainable packaging materials for our online orders wherever practical.
